I was curious to see what generation iPhone people on MR are using.

I'm using the iPhone 4

Just curious what happends if you upgrade your phone and sign a contract but return the phone a few days later and use a previous phone aka from 4s to 4. Do you lose the upgrade option even though that phone was returned or?

4s. Had a 4, traded it for a galaxy nexus on Craigslist, then traded that for a 4s. $50 upgrade from 4 to 4s.

4s. The 3GS is a backup an the 3G is a media center remote control.

I currently have a 4S. The iPhone 4 was my first iPhone and I will most likely be getting the next iPhone whatever they decide to call it.

They give you the upgrade back and that was about it. I did double check to make sure they did though. :)

iPhone 4 and happy with it after two Androids. However, I do plan to get the next generation (iPhone 5?), mainly for the improved camera and 4G/LTE speed, assuming that's part of it. I didn't think there was enough difference between the 4 and 4S to warrant the expense and loss of an upgrade.
