What is a "best" 26-29" monitor for macbook pro 13.3" 2.4?

I am looking for a good monitor for my new Mac Pro -- I was thinking about a ASUS 26" VK266H LCD Monitor, or NEC and others. I will do quite a bit of video editing and photo editing CS5,so color matters.

But I don't want to spend more than $400 . Any idea?

Why do you want it to be 26"-29" if you're getting a 1920x1080 monitor? If colors are important, then your best bet is an IPS monitor and those aren't particularly cheap. IMO there is no reason to get +24" monitor as the resolution is the same

Dell 2209WA is one but it's only 22". U2410 is one too
