...other than actually using Chrome. I use Chrome on all my other computing devices except the iPad because
  • Safari is faster on iOS
  • There is no way to set default browsers on iOS
I have no plan to switch from Chrome on other platforms, so I need to find a way for Safari to tap into my Chrome bookmarks. I tried Xmarks but it always messes up the ordering of my bookmarks so that's a no.
Anyway to launch Safari from inside Chrome? Or even a separate app that just syncs the bookmarks from Google and launches Safari?

I use Chrome on my desktop and Safari on my iPad. To keep the bookmarks in sync I routinely export my desktop Chrome bookmarks to an HTML file using the bookmark manager. I have Safari on my desktop for the sole purpose of importing bookmarks from the Chrome HTML file into Safari. I delete the old bookmarks before importing the new. I tell my desktop iTunes to sync Safari bookmarks when I connect my iPad. Works great and the ordering is maintained.
