I want something like a remove all programs/apps but that you can do via the notification center ?

if you have SBsettings installed removeBG is pretty nice

I used to have RemoveBG but it would keep sending my iPhone into Safe Mode when I used it on 5.0.1 so now I use WeeKillBackground there is a free version in Cydia. :D

Download WeeKillBackground. It works perfectly.

RemoveBG has never worked for me since 5.0...

Also WeeFlashlight is nice too! Both tweaks are for the notification center.

Thx guys weekillbackground is awesome I like that it lets you exclude certain apps, in my case safari and twitter works great for that as I usually got lots of tabs open or am in the middle of reading on a webpage

right, thats what I was getting at in my first post...the toggle

That's odd because I did have the toggle installed, and it was causing it to go into Safe Mode. But no worries as I have something else installed but I am glad it works for the both of you. :D

I had the same problem as well if not going into safe mode it'd just automatically respring. That's why I made the thread for an alternate.

WeeKillBackground is definitely my favorite. Super
quick and works without a hitch. I tried the free version
and then bought the $1 version cause it worked so well!

That will happen if you use it from the notification center. It works fine from the old interface. It says something to that effect on the download page in cydia (I think that is where I saw the note about it). Thanks for the info about the alternative. I was getting sick of having to bring up the old interface from the notification center everytime I wanted to use it.

I used WeeKillBackground for a couple of weeks, but I noticed my iPhone would get really slow after a couple of days. I don't know if it has to do with how it closes the apps, but it seemed to me like the tweak doesn't completely removes the apps from memory. After a couple of days the memory would stay well below 100MB on an iPhone 4 with all apps closed, only a respring would help. When I manually close all apps, my iPhone doesn't get slower and the amount of memory free stays high. Do any of you notice this too?

you have to add things to the notification center. go to settings then notifications. scroll down to "not in notification center"
then add what you want.

Is another app program required in order to run WeeKillBackground Pro (ie LockInfo or SBSettings).....or can it run standalone?

Update: Nevermind, the notification center setting was turned off. Enabled it and all is good!
