what is a used rMBP worth

What aproximate price can I reasonably expect for my retina MacBook Pro if i sold it?
I'm contemplating selling it to get this year's model as I'm assuming with last year being a minor upgrade this years might be a bigger one.

It's in decent condition, it was top-of-the-line for the original 2012 rMBP:
2.7 GHz
16 GB ram
768 GB SSD

You can get a good idea by checking recently ended auctions on eBay for your machine.

Just look at "Sold" listings on eBay. A cursory look shows them in the $1800-$2000 range.
