What is Apple's FREE SHIPPING time on Macbook Pros?

Trying decide whether to purchase a 15" or 17" MBP (and that's a tough
decision as is) from either MacMall or Apple. MacMall is cheaper with
the rebate.

But my question really is, how long does it take for notebooks to
ship from Apple and arrive? Is the FREE SHIPPING overnight? I live
in NJ so I am probably the furthest away from wherever APPLE ships
domestically.

Depends if you make it Configured To Order (CTO). See the stickied thread at the top of the subforum for more info too. If it's a stock setup - it'll be fairly quick. You can edit the title by going into Edit, then advanced option, then changing the title and saving.

they use fedex. I live in arizona and I think they usually ship from Cali (usually around sacramento). I ordered mine on Tuesday night and received it the following Tuesday.

Ordered 6/12 and I will get it tomorrow. So ten days but I upgraded the HDD to 250GB.

I live on Vancouver Island in Canada. I ordered a refurbished MBP on Monday night, from Apple...standard shipping (free) and it arrived at my house on Thursday...3 days!! Excellent service!

I live in Minnesota and took like 3 days, I was very happy. Plus you can do the printer rebate with Apple.

I had a BTO, but the actual shipping time was 5 days. Would've probably arrived a day or two earlier, but thus, the weekend came.

The last time I ordered from apple, they shipped it from johnstown, PA. Took about 3-5 days free shipping.
