All iPads What is Apple's return policy on iPads bought at the Apple store?

I've never owned an iPad till now and want to buy one now. I can't decide between the iPad 4 and the iPad mini, but I am leaning towards the bigger iPad at this time because of its retina display. If I buy an iPad 4 and don't like it for whatever reason, can I change my mind and return it to the Apple store I bought it from for a full refund? Do they refund your money only if you swap it with a different product like the iPad mini or do they refund your money, no questions asked? Can you also return the smart cover or are accessories not returnable?

Also how long is the return period (I've heard 14 days and in some places I've read 30 days)?

I have got the Apple Store in Cardiff, UK to agree to exchange my iPad 3 for iPad 4 even though bought it 25 days ago.

14 days on everything except phones and they are 30.
