What is Auto-Brightness?

I have it turned on all the time but my Brightness never changes...


can someone explain what it does exactly? is it better to have it on or off?

You have a slider to choose your own level of brightness. When you activate auto brightness your phone should choose the right level of brightness to suit your surroundings but it would not increase it more than what you've set it on the slider.

I try to turn it on and off but it never budges...

It changes based on the surrounding ambient light. For example, if you suddenly moved from a bright room to a dark room, it would dim the screen.

It also doesn't do anything if have brightness at 100% I believe
