What is backlight bleed?

A condition of persons who are looking for problems with an iDevice that likely doesn't exist as widespread as people seem to think.

My MBP did that a few weeks ago. Restarted twice, and it went away. I'm sure I'll see it again. Don't have it with my iPad 1.
