What is the best and fastest download assistant

Ive tried a Firefox Ad-on called Download Them All, but I want something better

Speed Download is more what im looking for but it's not free

The best things in life aren't always free.

You are, more often than not, going to get what you pay for. It's a matter of how much it is worth it to you. If you really need this program then you will be willing to pay. But, your willingness to not pay for a program denotes that you really don't need this or you don't see much value in it.

I got speed download in the mac heist bundle, but I have yet to use it. I like the built in download with safari much better.
