I know that FaceID will lock (and you need to re-enter your passcode) after two failed FaceID attempts, but I wonder what is considered a FaceID attempt?

I often leave my iPhone on our buffet table, and my wife will pick it up to check the time. I wonder if that act of glancing at the time on the screen will count as a failed FaceID attempt?

If it does, then I can see myself having to re-enter my passcode quite often throughout the day.
