What is difference between App Expose and Mission Control?

Complete thick here again!!

Could someome kindly explain the difference/benefits between 'App Expose' and 'Mission Control' please! They both seem to do the same thing as each other when say you have 2 browsers open.
Still trying to get my head around everything iMac!!
