So, MBPs have been on market for 2 months now and people have mainly bought them instead of MacBook. What do you think is going to happen for MacBook?

Here are my guesses:

1. Apple releases "netbook" with >13" screen (maybe 10" and 11"/12"?) and calls it MacBook

2. Apple keeps it quite same as it is now (non aluminum), adds few more options/models (maybe black one?)

3. Apple drops 13" from Pro line and makes it just MacBook again

4. Apple discontinues MacBook

Any more ideas?

Status quo remains, but I think that the BlackBook is gone. A couple of your options are just not going to happen including netbook and rebranding the Unibody MacBook as a non-pro machine again.

In all honesty, we had this discussion while you were on your MacRumors hiatus, welcome back though.

Oh dang! I used MRoogle but found nothing similar. I'll ask mods to remove this

In fairness, your thread title had to actually do with the topic and the discussion diverged in the other. You have a poll as well. That other thread led to a discussion of the MacBook Touch.

Surprise, surprise....

I asked mods to close this because we don't have to go through this again. MRoogle showed only 2 months old threads, that's why I decided to make new one.
