Depends Greatly On The Weather
What is happening with dashboard. It seems like no one makes apps for it anymore. I would of thought they would of integrated it into the App Store or something.

Literally nothing has been done to it in years and it is quite useful.

Thanks

They turned it off by default in the latest MacOS releases. Not a good sign for it. The Dashboard is one of the few areas where a touchscreen would play quite nicely with MacOS. But we all know there are no plans for a full touch interfaces with MacBooks/Pros and iMacs.

It is probably considered a legacy feature. Ars Technica has been predicting its demise for years now.

I only have iStat in the dashboard. All the widgets for it have a terrible look. The whole dashboard thing is outdated anyways. The notification center pretty much fits the same purpose. There are a couple of useful apps for it and you also have clock, calc, calendar, weather. They can kill the dashboard.

I, too, use Dashboard every day.
There may not be "anything new" for it, but what's out there still works well enough...

I thought I used the dashboard every day, but I was confusing it with the Launchpad <3
