What is "iphone" vs "iphone speaker"

I noticed since upgrading to iOS7, "iphone" or "iphone speaker" has been appearing in my control center airplay. What is the difference?? I have no airplay speakers at all :/

Ones the speaker you normally use when using it as a phone and the other is the speaker at the bottom of the phone.

Unfortunately I'm not sure which is labeled as which, somebody will be along shortly to confirm.

Someone around you on the same wireless network probably has a speaker named "iPhone Speaker". If you select it, do you hear anything?
