What is it about the new MacBook that make its startup times so quick?

As title really. Reviews stated 7 second bootup, but the new 2015 pro has faster SSD and processors but is timed around 13 seconds. What could be causing this?

Not exactly sure but am guessing a new Intel technology. My new Wintel machine is said to be able to cold boot to win8.1 in 1.5 seconds, perhaps OSX is adapting to this.
