I noticed this when checking the battery usage of my husband's phone. It's not a lot, 1 percent, but sometimes it shows up. It never shows up in the other three phones in the family, and Google is coming up empty.

What is this? Anything to worry about?

I have no idea what "message view services" is, and it looks like this message is not regular message like SMS.
So to keep things short, I also have no idea what it is.

Screenshot would help us here.

Without any more information, my guess is that it's viewing and replying to messages in the lock screen. With the latest update, Apple enriched the ability to view/reply without unlocking the phone. There are also many more effects, tools, GIFs, etc.

It's something Messages does in the background, it shouldn't appear in your battery stats
Just disregard it
