What is Microsoft Office 2008 Expression Media?

I just got my upgrade from Office 2004 which I never installed, I just bought for $120 because I wanted the free $350 upgrade! :D

Anyway, I can see using everything in the package except Expression Media. What is it? :confused:

Is it just a manager like iPhoto or is it a bunch of royalty-free photos and graphics?
