iPhone What is Mobile Substrate cydia?

Hey guys as we are all glad that JB for ios7 is out from Evasion and the draw is that Mobile substrate is not yet supported.Now what is it?I was told when the apps crash this brings it back on,so if Mobile Substrate isnt there then the phone wont reboot?

I want to get JB on my Iphone 5 but this is holding me back,kindly help!

Basically, many tweaks are usable now on your iPhone 5. However, if you reset, many of them may stop working, making it necessary to reinstall MS (and respring) to make them work again (if they do start working, that is).

The 2nd link makes it easier to understand, and the way I understood it is - Mobile Substrate is like XCode but for Cydia tweaks. Is that an accurate way of thinking about it?

Sure you can think of it that way! Without xcode the apps couldn't be built to work.

Saurik recommends you jailbreak now, but dont install anything until mobilesubstrate is updated to work.
