What is qmin

the title about says it all. I've been tweaking my settings in the late Visual Hub and ran across this?

I've done alot of searching and can find much explaining what this dose.
any help would be appreciated. thx

I haven't found anything that explains what this does. It sounds like a minimum for something but I don't know what for. Try putting a number in it and clicking preview, then change the number by about 20 and click preview. See what is different. I have found some forums explaining what to put there and all say from 5-9 so changing it to 20 should leave an obvious result. If it has to do with the two-pass rendering option next to it, it could take a while to create a preview. BE WARNED!

thx I'll try that. in the middle of a big conversion now that im scared of screwing up, but when that's done I'll get back on to tell what i find out

Don't worry, this thread isn't one of those 200 pagers that Doctor Q and other gods talk in. I could care less if you can't find out.
