I am not sure what they are called, buy i want to be one of those people that stand around and answer questions. i live in Arizona and minimum wage is 7.25. Are they on commission as well?

Probably varies by location in the country
Why not go in, ask for an application and let them tell you the pay
That would be more accurate than any guess here

You want to be a specialist but you don't know anything about Macs as evidenced from your other thread. If you truly want to be a specialist, then you need to get your hands on a Mac and start learning.

I agree with this... Plus it always varies by skill and location.

I was a Apple Specialist in Canada.. Starting was 15.00/hr
then I was promoted to a FT Family room specialist which
got me up to 18.00/hr

You do not work on commision, but you are expected
to sell solutions and not just products ( ie; mobile me, app, one2one)

Apple Interview Seminar

I have a date scheduled for a seminar at the Apple Campus and I was wondering what they would be doing there? They said to plan to be there for about 2 hours.

Retail in general is not worth it.. esp since because of the dying economy here in the US and prices going up.. the cost of living barely makes it at 10.00 an hour.. so retail really doesn't pay anywhere near being above the cost of living.. personally, I hate retail and the long hours take away a lot of time to be spent with family..

Work smarter, not harder.

I started at $11/hour as a specialist back in 2007. Not sure what they're paying nowadays but I'd imagine it's similar.
