I'm currently debating on getting a monitor, i have decided on one that is 22 inches. I don't need a professional monitor, just a decent one for under $240.

Iv'e looked at a few Acers, some Hanns G and an AOC. The only thing i really need is 5ms or under response time, at least 700:1 Contrast ration and a 22 inch screen for under $240.

Any Suggestions?

Hmmm.. most 22" are around $300, but there is one that fits you're specs and price. The Dell 22" E228WFP.

It has 800:1 contrast ratio, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 5ms response time, so I think it meets your expectations. Also, Dell monitors are pretty good quality, so you shouldn't have any problems.

I agree, I got one for $270 because I waited for a sale. I really like it.

I have 4 Acer AL2216W's and I like them a lot. I'm about to build a sound booth in my office and will be adding another one for in the booth.

I'd go for the first acer.

I agree with the three above. I use this model in a 19" at work and like it alot. I am planning on buying this monitor in a 22" for home soon.
