Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone had any input on what the best/most comfortable stand for the Ipad 2 is while using it on the bed or the sofa.

So far, the Belkin View Lounge has caught my eye, but I know there are a lot more cool stands out there.

Any feedback will be great and feel free to post some pics as well. I just want one that ACTUALLY works when using it on the bed, haha

Thanks!

You want the Pad Pivot. You're welcome.

Lap log

I absolutely love my lap log. I used it all the time on the bed and when sitting on the couch to either read or watch movies on my ipad. Love the fact due to the shape of the pillow I can change the viewing angle to whatever suits me best.

Breakfast tray

Try a breakfast tray and you can use any ipad case you want. It's as if you had a desk right in front of you.

The setup works great with my recently purchased Joy Factory Folio 360. I use it to read books in portrait mode and it's pretty comfortable.

For bedside

I think this one is nice, found it while randomly surfing the net yesterday.
here's the website if you want, airholder.com

I'm sorry if the picture's a bit too big

I bought this Standzfree Floor Stand for iPad, iPad 2 and iPad 3 and it came in today. It is quite sturdy and allows you to move the iPad around anyway you need it. Plus you can easily rotate it in portrait or landscape mode.

I like it because I can free up both hands, one to use the iPad and the other to fend off my cat from trying to take over the iPad from me!

Seconding this. Probably one of the best iPad accessories I got.

Hint : just put the base below your mattress for a solid foundation.

Here's a pic of how I set it up.

I can also endorse an earlier recommendation for the PadPivot ... it is my most used accessory. (No connection, just a satisfied user.)

I vote for the SnakeClamp... Here's the review thread I posted here.

If a couch/bed iPad stand doesn't lift it up closer to eye level, I say what's the point? You might as well just prop it on a pillow and continue to get a crick in the neck.

EZ-BedStand is my favorite

I vote for EZ-Bedstand. It totally does the work and it saves me tons of money.
Beside I can use it everywhere, for example kitchen, desk

iCushion

I had the same question. I wanted something to hold my ipad at an angle but comfy so i can use in bed

Bought the icushion from mobiletoyz.co.uk http://www.mobiletoyz.co.uk. Love it, its a cushion that has a slot for the ipad and solved all the problems i had

a gadget called padbow is the answer

My wife got me a bow-like holder (named padbow) that suspends the iPad above my belly when I lay on bed. It doesn't touch any part of my body and is excellent for watching movies or playing angry birds. I use it all the time and most important is affordable...
