iOS What is the best layout for an app?

Hi Everyone,

Im creating an iPhone app for my project and I have just done a user study for the 3 main layouts:

-tool bar layout
-tab bar layout
-table layout

I have all the results from my users however I am trying to add some technical details to my report and I'm struggling to find any information online regarding the 3 layouts, which one is better and why? every time I search on google I just get link about creating apps.

Does anyone have any good links to any web pages where they might of analysed the different layouts?

There is no answer to this question. Each is better in some cases and worse in others. If one was the best in all cases it would be the only one available.

You should be sure to read the iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and how Apple recommends the usage of bars.
