What is the best photo organizer for Lion 10.7.2?

I find iphoto to be clunky. I just don't like the way the library get bigger and bigger for no obvious reason and I hate that face recognition feature.

Anyone here can suggest a good alternative? Thanks.

It looks like Picasa is also annoying...iphone 7.1.5 is still the best...unfortunately, it is so old.

If you are only using it to organize the photos, then iPhoto should work just fine. Aperture would be extreme overkill.
