I would like to go back to a 4" phone, but I don't want to pay any more money as I feel my used 6S is still worth more than a new SE. Is there a place I can sell it that will pay me enough to cover the SE + taxes? I would like to avoid eBay and avoid a lot of the effort, if too much effort is involved I will just stick with what I have. Thanks!

Try both CL & Swappa - I personally find Swappa to be an even bigger "lowball festival" than CL at times.
Swappa was awesome 4 or so years ago when it first started and it was strictly through XDA-Developers or what not. Now....I agree it's lowball fest with all of these resellers trying to get you to sell for 50% of your asking price, even when your device is one of the lowest priced, best condition, and still has all the OEM accessories. Side rant but I can't stand when sellers don't have all the accessories or box that the device came in.
