What is the component next to the camera in the notch?

I pulled this image from the “zoom in” on the notch during the M1 Pro announcement video. Does anyone know what that component is to the left of the camera? Something for focusing?

I think you are correct. Long ago it used to be located in the speaker grills, but it seems like next to the camera is the more modern location. Thanks!

There are like five or six RGB sensors on the far left for true tone and auto-brightness/auto-contrast
