What is the cut off for launch date delivery for preorders?

Orders for the 16th deleivery will go until they run out of their immediate stock. Then orders will slip a week of so.
After about 100 tries mine finally got through.

if the iPhone 4s preorder was any indication the cut off was at night like 6 or 7?? central time. The iPhone Preorders started at 2AM so I am guessing you will make it in time
. But if you have an iPhone why not use the apple store app to pre-order?Maybe, maybe not. The iPhone 4s initial supply sold out pretty quickly. Apple likes to constrain the supply to build hype. If it is important to you, order NOW!

I'm scares that it'll be a nightmare like the 4S. I don't want to be charged 3 times using that app or one not go through. You know?
Download the Apple store app on your iPhone and order away, if you can...
Or, have a friend or family member order it for you perhaps ?
Lastly, don't freak out over an electronic gadget!! You WILL get one! It's really not the end of the world!!

Yes, I ordered soon after the online store came back up with a lot of waiting and issues and they recieved my order twice. It was a pretty painless proccess to cancel one of them.
When I tried the pre order thingy, it charged me 3 times, and I had to start over. Glad that it did not go through. The site is slow and many Ooops pages that I had to back out of and start again, but it did finally work. Wish there was a better way. Tried the calling method as well, and the recorded voice told me, that it could not go through because of the volume and try another time.
