I just got a late 2005 aluminum powerbook g4. wondering what the difference is between it and a first gen macbook pro. is the only difference the intel processor?

The memory is faster, you have a SATA drive, the Intell CPU is dual core, the video chip is different, one can run Snow Leopard.

The above post covered pretty much everything I'd have mentioned. The only other thing I can think of is the MacBook Pros had an iSight camera above the display. Also, the MacBook Pros don't have an "S-Video" output like the PowerBook G4's do.

The Macbook Pro is also missing a dial-up modem. This was a big issue when they first came out.
