MacRumors is generally more technical. We're more open to jailbreaking and hackintoshes than Apple. And we don't delete threads that go against Apple's wishes.
 
More techical... does that mean people here are generally more technically savvy? For example would I get better answers on regarding how to use Final Cut Pro etc.
 
From my experience, more technical means, more into hardware problems and issues. While Apple forums are more into software issues. But both sites are equally matched when it comes to knowledge. It would be fun to have a face off between the users' knowledge.

You might (regarding FCP), but there are a lot of good and free tutorials on how to do things in FCP, though if you have a very specific question, post it, hopefully in the right sub forum (Digital Video for FCP related questions).
