I want to buy a Seagate Momentus XT Hybred drive.

There are two models;

STAN500100

ST95005620AS

There is usually a $20 or so difference of price... but beyond that there seems to be no difference... But then why are there two different model numbers?!?

**Leia impression** Help me MacRumors... You're my only hope! :confused:

I think the more expensive one is the retail version, while the other is a bare drive. I'd just buy the bare drive, as it's the same thing, just without all the fancy packaging.

I'm not positive but I think the AS in ST95005620AS means the automatic g force sensor. I currently have ST95005620AS. Not entirely sure what the other one is.
