What is the "guest" user title

It my few months on Mac Rumors, I have never seen "Guest" as a user title, until today. What does it mean? Thanks.

From the forum rules:

If you see a title of "Guest", it means that the MacRumors account has been canceled, usually by the user's request.

Simple search...

Here's an example of when a user's title changes to guest:

A forum member gets a job at an Apple Store and wants to make sure they don't get in trouble for being a MacRumors member. They contact us and we change their account to a "Guest" account. Their previous posts remain in the forums with that user title, but they can no longer participate.

If they later move on to a new job, not for Apple, they may return and we can "unguest" their account for them, in which case they will return to their previous user title and can participate again.
