Can someone please tell me what it is that I need to purchase in order unlock for domestic use my iPhone 4s that was purchased from a CDMA network? You might not have heard of it because it's a regional carrier. Open Mobile which only operates in Puerto Rico which is a US territory. I want to know how and if I can use the GSM capabilities of this phone domestically as in using it with another carrier in the US. The phone is unlocked internationally but that is as far as I know.

Gevey Turbo Sim, R-Sim, GPP Sim. All depend on what firmware the iPhone is on to work.

Why don't you just sell it and get an unlocked GSM iphone?

It's not gonna earn a even a fraction of what I paid for it since it's locked to a regional carrier in Puerto Rico. :( Plus, right now I can't afford to buy a new one either. All this trouble because I didn't knew about the differences between CDMA & GSM...
