What is the Large text file "tstfile" on Mac

After updating to 10.10.4 i noticed a Huge text file in my main directory. I have never seen such a huge text file, its 1.07Gb and looks to be growing. please see the screenshot below. anyone know what the heck this is? when i google it, all that comes up are benchmark sites.

It's most likely an output file from a benchmarking utility. It hasn't changed since June 11, so it's not growing. You can delete it.
