I got a loaded i7, 8M, 512G one from the apple store but it says MacBookAir6,2 (Early 2014)

Are the latest ones stamped "mid 2014) rather than early 2014 or do I have the latest?

Early 14 is basically the model number/name. It's not a manufacturing date.
