DeltaMac macrumors G5 Jul 30, 2003 13,949 4,716 Delaware Jan 25, 2014 #2 According to Vectorworks, both the 2014 and 2013 versions have updates that are completely compatible with OS X 10.9 http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/1192/OS+X+10.9+Mavericks+compatibility+with+Vectorworks So, you could also update your Vectorworks (which you will likely do at some point anyway), and getting new hardware would make a convenient reason to also update your software, particularly if it is something that helps you earn money.

According to Mactracker, the latest that came with ML is the MBP Retina early 2013. Late 2013 models come with Mavericks thus can't run ML.
