I'm still using High Sierra on my 2016 MBP along with iTunes 12.6.3.6 because I liked the app management. The app management has been broken for a few months and now that I upgraded to an iPhone 12 Pro w/ iOS14, I receive an error message that I can no longer sync my phone and have to update iTunes.

Are there compatibility issues between High Sierra and whatever the latest version of iTunes is? I have two legacy apps (LR6 and CS5) that I'm not yet willing to give up and upgrade MacOS

The update will be for the iTunes device support. It won't give you a version of iTunes that exceeds High Sierra

edit: booted into my HDD to check, 12.8.2.3 is the current up to date High Sierra iTunes version

Thank you. This fix worked. Obviously got rid of the App Store, but it didn't seem like Apple was going to fix it at this point
