I just watched Jerryrigseverything's iPhone 7 scratch/bend tests video and noticed that the quad LED flash could be scratched/peeled off with a box cutter. This reminds me that Apple has touted sapphire lens cover for the camera since the 5 but never mentioned what the LED flash cover is made of.
Has the LED flash always been plastic since the 5? (iirc the glass panel covers the flash for both 4 and 4s).
