What is the number in the tab? (New after upgrade)

See attached - the forum tabs in Safari/Mac always have a (31) on them. At first I thought it was unread posts or something, but it's not - and it's always 31. I checked my profile to see if I had 31 messages or something, couldn't find it. What is this '31'?

It should be the number of unread alerts you currently have. Check the bell icon at far right of the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Ah - I looked up there and missed it, how did that happen? Ooh well thanks!
