In 3.0 why is there 2x and 1/2 speeds? They make podcasts unlistenable, I c no point in it!

I use the 2x speed - if find it listenable, and it saves time!

I suppose 1/2 speed would be useful if the podcaster rattles off a url or email address too fast?

it might be useful in making podcasts smaller in size.

i was thinking that if the podcast were twice the speed of the original, then by using the 1/2x speed thing to make it sound normal again would save space on the phone as the original file would be much less.

ah schmuck.

It's for someone who has limited time to listen to a podcast. For instance if someone has a 30 minute drive to work and they want to listen to an hour long podcast at 2x..
