What is the point of using Winclone when other cloning software are available for Windows?

Hi, I have used Winclone in the past but it has happened once that it could not restore a Windows partition. Given that there are many cloning and backup software (e.g. True Image, Windows' own backup utility) available for Windows, what is the point of using Winclone?

Has anybody used both Winclone and Acronis True Image long enough to comment on each's reliability?

I been a winclone user for years and it has not let me down. I have my windows os on a external drive Installing windows on a external drive is easy with winclone.

Did you do it from the Bootcamp internal drive? I have read reviews of Winclone and very few saying it is good.plus the price is high, I don,t see any coupons for it.another thing is Honey I never see coupons for computer software. All the stuff I want no coupons from Honey

Yes first I installed windows on my external drive them use winclone to move it. After that I was able to delete windows on the internal drive.

I think I will take a chance on buying it and hope for the best. I made a big mistake in buying it. How do I get a refund

Use whatever makes you happy with the software, and doesn’t matter you worry that your backup is always in jeopardy.
