I recently bought my 15" MBP and was wondering what's the proper way to charge it? I would love to hear the way you guys charge your battery.

Thanks:)

(I can't resist this...)

I generally try to use the AC power cord, attached to an active outlet and the computer. Sometimes I'll also use the extension when the cord isn't long enough. I find that shaking the device and hoping it gets charged isn't very effective, and generally time consuming.

Dang - beat me to it.... :)

Seriously - OP - just plug it in when convenient. Unplug it when you need to. Apple actually has a page on their website that talks about this. But the system is designed to be plugged in and unplugged on your schedule...

When it's dead, I plug it in.

Seriously though, don't worry about the battery, just use it!

Thanks guys, I went thru old threads and found very useful post that has been posted by GGJstudios.
