I am using OS X 10.6.3 Snow Leopard. I was wondering if anybody knew the purpose of the volume, "net", which essentially has the same icon as a mountable disk image, however, with the the image of what I can only describe as three stick figures holding hands in it.
Does anybody know what its purpose is? It seems plausible that it has something to do with the network configuration, however I can't remember ever seeing it show up in my finder before, even on snow leopard. I've just done a clean install and it still shows up. What is it? and Can I dismount it?
