Not sure I understand. Can someone provide some clarification? This just comes across as confusing to the casual fan. Not to mention delaying the release of the X was a bad move.
resell value will be higher as well, there is no noticeable difference in cost.I was really looking forward to that iPhone X, after seeing that price however I think I am going to have to give it misss. I just cannot justify spending that much on a phone.

why would they go backwards? i cannot remember any Apple Product that plummet in resell value.Resell value is going to plummet if TouchID makes its way into iPhone XT next year.

Based on how they marketed FaceID, I wonder if that will prevent them form putting TouchID back anywhere. It would be like a step backwards, and Apple never does that.
Goal was to distract consumers into buying plus or regular 8....either that or goal was to get people juml to x version and not buy 8 and plus. Not sure I understand. If you’re right, the X will go down as a stopgap dud. A big one. Kind of like the iPad 3-except a lot more expensive.Prediction is that next year, once they figure out in-display TouchID, they will stop the iPhone 8 and keep iPhone X around, but have an:
iPhone XT
T stands for TouchID. Simple as that. It's confusing this year, but that's just because of the way technical issues got in the way.
