I'm still considering getting my first Apple Watch, and it would be the Apple Watch SE. Now I'm trying to decide which size is right for me, and I'm leaning towards the 44mm model. I'm male with a wrist circumference of 180mm. I understand there isn't one correct answer to this, and the size of the watch doesn't necessarily have to correlate with wrist size—it's ultimately about personal preference and what feels right for each individual. I'd love to hear from you: what's your wrist size, and which watch size did you choose? Thanks in advance!

I also found this on how to measure your wrist size correctly. I thought I’d share it here in case someone finds this information useful:

If you have an apple store within a reasonable distance I would suggest trying them on to see. I bought the 46mm with the larger band. I don't have exceedingly large wrists and the I snap the band at the third hole from the end closest to the watch.

...I understand there isn't one correct answer to this...
FWIW I have skinny wrists and had been wearing a 41mm that I thought was just fine, but when Wife got an Ultra 2 I tried hers on and... I was hooked. Got a Titanium Ultra 2 for myself and now can't live without it. I especially appreciate the larger display. Got a TAURI protective cover for it which makes it even slightly bigger and, well, try-it-you-may-like-it.

I have no idea what my wrist size is, I have an Ultra2.
If you have made a decision on what brand watch you really want (that is unclear from your various posts recently) then go to an Apple Store and try them on and pick the one YOU like best and ask those whose opinions you value for feedback…

Just go try them on. No one can answer this but you. I'm a male with tiny wrists and I always get the larger size. I like the bigger screen and the size doesn't bother me. For me that's what's important to me as opposed to what size others would say I should wear.

If you can try them on at an Apple Store great, but you can also try them on at Best Buy.
I keep forgetting about BB. We have a BB but not an AS, though the last time I was in there (a few years now!!!) it seemed a pretty complete representation of the product line.

Yeah it is. The difference is at the Apple Store they just have the watches loose and not tethered to anything versus when you go to Best Buy I believe they are tethered so it can be a little harder to tell how they actually feel on your wrist. I am also not sure if they keep ever single watch out but usually there is someone from Apple there in the Apple section of Best Buy that can help you with stuff like that.

It is not about wrist size, it is 100% about individual preference. So go to an Apple Store and see what you prefer. I had a couple of earlier AWs that I liked, but then when the AW Ultra came out I loved it.

I beat on my AWU pretty good and I. cannot imagine any value add to a cover.

I personally have the SE one, but it's quite small. I'd get a bigger one, just for the functionalities, as it's easier to press the buttons

I still remember when I bought the AW1. I was almost positive I wanted the small one because my wrist is small. It took about 1 minute in the Apple store before I realized I wanted the bigger size.

Well, duh, it gives me peace of mind for the many times I accidentally bang it against something.

And I do actually like the bigger look.

Wife did too, so I put a black one on her Black Titanium and she loves it. Something like "bigger is better" with her; probs why we're together so many years... ;)

I got the SE 40mm size for 2 main reason. I have narrow wrists and mostly use it for lap swimming. Anything larger would feel like it's flopping around during daily wear and swimming. The 40mm size is practically unnoticeable and plenty large to see.

Yup my 49mm w/TAURIC cover does often make it hard to get shirts and coatsleeves over-or-off of it.

"To each his own."

Also, "There is no accounting for taste."
