What is the "rip rate" of a song purchased from iTunes?

Thank you for reading this. I may not be using the correct terminology, but I would like to know the equivalent "rip rate" of a song purchased from iTunes. For example, is a song purchased on iTunes akin to a song ripped from a CD at 128, or 192 or at lossless, etc.? Thank you for your thoughts.

128kbps at 44.1 kHz, AAC, VBR.

Note that 128 / AAC is very different (better) than 128 / MP3.
