What is the single thing you are hoping most for in the new iPhone?

Chrome and scratches I can deal with. What would make using my iPhone every day infinitely more enjoyable would be more RAM. Imagine actually being able to listen to music while surfing the net or checking email, without it skipping! Wouldn't that be incredible??
More RAM. Everything else is secondary.

Yes, agreed. There is way way too much lag when using multiple programs, etc. I can't even imagine how nice it'd be to surf safari without it crashing and lagging constantly.

The one thing that would make me jealous of the new iPhone would be a bigger screen.
1. Better Battery Life
2. A storage bump
3. A case more like Gen 1 less like shiny plastic Gen 2

I agree with your 3 points but, that's not a "single" thing
I just want a metal back case or at least a flat matte plastic that DOESN'T CRACK. I'll take a reception hit... just give me a stronger phone please. It's not a desktop computer that just sits there on a desk and doesn't move. It's a mobile device that needs the strength to be mobile without having to worry about it cracking by just having it in your pocket.
I'm on the 1st gen iPhone and it never skipped when going on the net and listening to music. I mean, I used this all the time last summer cause my job was a joke and it nothing ever crashed. That's really weird.

The iPhone camera is capable of excellent results and these examples prove that it's not the camera but the person operating it that makes a good picture.

Only if it's light enough. Low light performance is bloody awful.
Why?
On the same 'g' network, my Macbook Pro loads pages faster than my iPhone. Why? Because it has a faster processor.
So why would you need a faster connection if it wouldn't actually display web pages any faster?
Every camera has it's limitations - the secret it to make the most of its strengths.
