iPod What is the size of the ipod shuffle?

hi i am struggling finding out just how big the 1st gen shuffle is ...

Ive heard that it is: The size of a pack of gum ...

but i have to ask this:

Is it the same size as a ipod nano ... in length of course.
is it the same size as a small standard usb drive/stick.

or anything if anyone could let me know
