What is this file?

Hey guys, for about 3 to 4 days now, I've had this file in my trash, and I can't delete it, if I drag it out, it will disappear but then will go back into the trash after a while,

It's the result of a glitch in something or other, possibly from the system failing to properly empty the trash previously. I wouldn't worry about where it's there, just how to get rid of it. Open Terminal and run:

sudo rm -rf ~/.Trashes

Sorry, but um... no luck in using sudo rm -rf ~/.Trashes in terminal... I guess I'll just have to bear with it for now...

I'm guessing that the code you gave me is right, but still does not clear it, strange...
