What is this film sticking out of my MacBook?

This thin strip thing is sticking out of the bottom left vent of my MacBook (TB 2017). What is it? Should I take it to the Apple store? Should I pull it?

Can't tell if it's a rubber gasket or a wire. I say take it to the Apple Store.
